The Reader’s Club of CSI College for Advanced Studies, Punnakkad, is organizing a special programme in connection with Hindi Diwas, celebrating the richness and significance of the Hindi language and its role in promoting linguistic and cultural harmony.The programme will begin with the Introductory Remarks by Ms. Julie James, setting the context for the celebration and highlighting the importance of Hindi Diwas and the role of languages in connecting people and cultures.This will be followed by an insightful Talk by Mr. Santo V. Thomas  focusing on the relevance, heritage, and contemporary significance of the Hindi language.The programme will also feature the Principal’s Message by Dr. Sheena Eapen, offering valuable thoughts and encouragement to the students on the importance of language, literature, and cultural diversity.As part of the celebration, various competitions will be conducted, including Hindi Recitation and Desh Bhakti Geeth, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their linguistic abilities, creativity, and patriotic spirit.The programme will conclude with the Prize Distribution, honouring the winners and participants of the competitions, followed by the Vote of Thanks by Dr. Darlie Mathew, expressing gratitude to all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.The celebration aims to foster an appreciation for Hindi while strengthening the spirit of linguistic diversity, cultural unity, and mutual understanding among the students.
