As part of “world food safety” BSc Food Technology and Quality Assurance Department of CSI College for Advanced Studies inaugurated a seminar series on 7th June 2023. The programme was started with a prayer by college choir. Shri. Shaji Mathew, Managing Director, Waynad Exports, Kozhencherry was the chief guest. The seminar was conducted to make awareness among the students regarding food safety and other protocols which should be practiced in Food Business. The esteemed chief guest was welcomed by Head of the department and programme co-ordinator, Dr. Jubi Jacob. Our principal, Dr. Roy Sam Daniel was welcomed on the dais with immense respect and cordial greetings. The chief guest Shri. Shaji Mathew was welcomed to inaugurate the seminar series “Meet the Magnate” and deliver the keynote address. The keynote speech was based on the topic “Food standards saves lives”. It was a very informative and impressive speech. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by college IQAC Co-ordinator, Dr. Darly Mathew. It was very informative and successful seminar.
